And More Cushions

I got another couple of the dog cushions done today

I still have lots more designs to do

While these were stitching out on the machine I made up a couple of cushion covers from some of the fabric stash that is in desperate need of being used up

These are 18inch covers and just have a simple envelope opening on the back

I did put them through the overlocker 

to tidy up the seams,

I have a fair amount of fabric that is suitable for cushion covers, I plan to make up lots of covers to take along to the craft fair, I shall sell them off for £3 as there is no real work involved in them.

Working On New Lines

I have been working on some ideas for new lines and did these two today

Really pleased with how they have stitched out 

I am adding them to my craft stall and have posted them for sale on the For Sale page

I have plenty of this fabric and can make to order

I have other designs that I am going to make into cushions.

Nostalgic Sewing

While having no internet at home it frees up so much time

I looked out this pattern the other day, another that has been sitting in the drawer for 7 years

 He was so easy to make up, I am now thinking about making up a few more to add to my stall.

 something else I have been playing with is English paper piecing

after drawing around the templates onto an A4 sheet

I photocopy a load of them and cut them out

 I then tack all my bits onto there paper backing

a nice easy task to do while sitting there in the evening

Then I can piece them together as and when I feel like  it,

nothing to taxing to think about and all very random.

Dont have any plans for it yet, just happy to piece it all together

also another great use for all those scraps I seem to gather.
