Now What

The Craft Fairs are finished for the time being,
 So now what,
Well I have to put my thinking cap on and think what I want to do in the coming year.
And more importantly do I want to continue with craft fairs.
Its an exhausting process and you are under a lot of pressure to make and continue to make sometimes doing lots of repetitive makes, I hate doing repetitive stuff.
It takes the creative enjoyment away,
just turning out the same old stuff
I enjoy trying out new things and really enjoy meeting the ladies and we all work on a new mini taster project
like the silk painting we did the other month.
I am compiling a list of things I want to try,
I am compiling a list of projects we are going to do as group.
So who knows what crafting challenges 2019 holds
and who knows what direction it will all take.
Not me.

Craft Fairs

Craft fairs play a big part in my life,
I enjoy making the things to sell
I enjoy meeting and chatting with other stall holders
I meet lots of interesting people
Go to lots of interesting places
I sell lots of items so I can make more
Its fun setting up a stall.
Here are some of the stalls I have done

Photos are in no particular order just a collection of random craft fair photos.

I Have Been Crafting Honest

I have been crafting non stop since my last post, just never seem to find the time to up date my blog
So what has been taking up my time
A shop in town has started stocking the dog breed cushions I embroider
I was working at full pelt to get the initial stock done and into the shop.
I still have my regular stall in the village once a month and decided a new line was needed
So I bought in a job lot of 50 vintage denim shirts to decorate

some of the deigns I have done
to help with the work load

a new bigger industrial machine was needed
Martin bought it for me valentines day, I then had to have a re-shuffle around in the cabin to accommodate it.

I have had an order for 40 of these key rings to complete.
 been making these infinity scarfs
 and neck warmers

 with various designs on them
I have also taken on a regular spot at another monthly craft fayre
I have been doing butterfly headbands

 ready for next week end

I finished this Japanese Obi bag yesterday to add to my stall but its already sold so will have to do another one now.
There is also a load of other stuff made but I wont bore you with it all. 😀
So as you can  see I haven't been neglecting my crafts just been busy crafting.
I have taken down my etsy shop something had to give after all.
